Stocking Stuffer Event - We put together 3,000 holiday goody bags to give to Kidney patients in the central Alabama area. It is a big job and we rely on volunteers to help us accomplish this at our annual Stocking Stuffer event. (TO DO: Link to volunteer section on Get Involved page.)
The AKF believes peer support plays a vital role in improving self-sufficiency, and helping Kidney patients gain knowledge for real-life situations. The AKF is proud to:
- Connect patients with Kidney Support Groups.
- Provide peer support opportunities to people who just received a Kidney transplant.
- Offer meaningful volunteer opportunities. MORE
