Financial Assistance
The Alabama Kidney Foundation's three Financial Assistance Programs provide kidney patients with much needed help during difficult times.
- Daily Living Needs (DLN)
- Critical Need Treatment Related Transportation Assistance Program (CNTRTAP)
- The AL Transportation Assistance Program (ATAP)
Provides assistance to help patients meet basic daily living expenses. Daily Needs
Provides transportation assistance to life-sustaining dialysis treatments for Alabama's sickest and poorest kidney patients. Guidelines for admittance to this program are very strict. CNTRTAP
Provides transportation assistance to a broader range of patients who do not qualify for CNTRTAP, but who still need help with the high cost of travel to dialysis three times a week. ATAP
